We live in a world that is based off of equal exchange. Understanding this rule is the sixth step to mastering your life and a key element to your success. It is the basic foundation on how life works in general. If you want to keep getting what you are getting, keep on doing what you are doing. If you do less than what you normally do, you will receive less than what you normally have gotten. If you do more and become more than what you are, you will receive more than what you have gotten. This is a straight forward approach to life and a concept easy to understand. Many times have people went on strikes demanding more pay for doing the same ole job they been doing for years. They feel a sense of “entitlement” to extra pay, just because they have worked there for a long time. This is no way to become massively successful and live an easy life. If we don’t put in an effort to become more valuable to our respected profession and choose to do the same ole thing everyday without effort of growing(taking more responsibility, stepping in leadership roles, etc) , how can we expect to climb the ladder of success? Your efforts will receive it’s equal value every-time. Working hard at your job will not help you climb the ladder of success. Working hard on yourself, however, will help you in all aspects of your life. Including your work place. Take some time to practice this way of thinking. Work on yourself more. Go that “extra” mile that everyone around you refuses to go. The territory you wind up in will have no one else there but you. But you will reap the benefits of being on this unmarked land. Becoming more, working on yourself, is the only way you can attain more from your life. And by reading this post, you are already taking steps to becoming more and making your life remarkable. If you don’t like where you are in life right now, here is a choice for you. Either add value to yourself and do more or continue what you are doing and never complain about why you are where you are again.
